All our lecturers are highly qualified and dedicated professionals. With outstanding technical knowledge and a proven
track record of delivering pass rates consistently above the international averages, they are all experienced CFA®
lecturers. Each Kaplan Financial education centre has at least two full-time CFA® lecturer to provide candidates with ongoing advice and

Esther Thng
CFA, BA, FRM, M.SOC.SCI (Applied Economics) |

Esther is a CFA® Charterholder
and a member of Singapore Society of Financial
Analysts. She graduated with honours and holds
a Bachelor of Accountancy from the National University
of Singapore. She also holds a Masters of Social
Sciences (Applied Economics) from the National
University of Singapore and was awarded the Lim
Chong Yah gold medal for her excellent academic
performance by the same university.
She has extensive experience working in the financial
sector in the areas of research, investment valuation,
financial analysis and forecasting. Esther has
been a full-time lecturer
with Kaplan Financial since 2000. Esther is well liked by her
students and is known for her ability to translate
difficult and complex concepts into easy to understand
terms. She also lectures on Kaplan’s corporate
finance courses to both local and overseas clients.
Her corporate clients include statutory bodies
and well-known financial institutions. |

Nilanjan Sen
PHD, CFA |

|
Dr. Sen is an Associate Professor
of Banking and Finance at Nanyang Business School.
He has received his PhD from Virginia Tech
and was a faculty member at Arizona State University
prior to joining Nanyang Technological University,
Singapore.
Dr Sen has conducted review program for CFA candidates
in Singapore and has worked with several US based
preparatory programs for CFA examinations. He
was also the chief examiner for Certified Investment
and Security Analyst Institute (CISA), Thailand.
In 2004, Dr. Sen received the Best Teacher
award from the division of Banking and Finance,
Nanyang Business School. |

Ng Lye Heng

Lye Heng is CFA Charterholder
and a member of Singapore Society of Financial
Analyst. He holds a Bachelor of Business Degree
from Nanyang Technological University and a
Master of Social Sciences (Applied Economics)
from the National University of Singapore. Lye
Heng is an authority in the areas of Financial
Derivatives Trading, Risk Managing and Product
Structuring. He has served as Principal Derivative
Trader and Risk Manager for various international
banks. Over the years, Lye Heng has also trained
extensively in Singapore and overseas. He has
trained CFA and Certified Financial
PlannersCM (CFPCM) candidates
for the past 8 years.

Daryl Liew CFA, MBA |

Daryl is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the Singapore Society of Financial Analysts. He holds a Bachelor of Laws
from the National University of Singapore and a MBA majoring in Finance from the Asian Institute of Management in the
Philippines. Daryl's expertise is in asset allocation and portfolio management honed through years of managing and advising
clients' investments. He is also a columnist for "The Edge" on personal wealth and is regularly approached for his thoughts
on investments by the local media. Daryl has 5 years of lecturing experience handling various financial modules at
undergraduate level.
