The CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^CM or CFP^CM Mark, is the most comprehensive and hence most widely respected professional certification in the financial planning industry. Recognised internationally, this prestigious certification singles out individual who have proven technical competence and significant practical experience.

In order to be certified, candidates must complete a certification process which comprises the 4 Es; namely Education, Examination, Experience and Ethics.

Completing the Education and Examination requirements equip CFP^CM practitioners with the technical knowledge and critical skills required in financial planning.

The Experience requirement dictates the CFP^CM practitioners must have at least three years relevant working experience. This is to ensure that CFP^CM certificants possess both practical and technical competencies.
