Training Division of FTC Kaplan.
Training and development has entered a new
era. More and more companies are recognizing the link between
effective workforce training and development and increased
productivity and competitiveness; individuals the world over
are beginning to identify the relationship between their education,
their continuing development and their overall career aspirations
and are taking positive action to maximize their potential
and employability; and as we move into a new global society,
we all recognize the erosion of the traditional skill-based
market and the new reliance upon information and knowledge
for success.
As one of the world’s largest training
companies, we understand that this is never more accurate
than in Singapore. And we should know; Kaplan is a wholly
owned subsidiary of the Washington Post Group, making us truly
a global organization and best placed in terms of resources
and information to make such a judgment.

been divided broadly into a range of products that serve to
meet the wider objectives of the Singapore market.
Our Management Development
Programme has been designed to target the specific needs
of managers in this new competitive society. We are aware
that new managers are often promoted because of their skills
or knowledge in their particular fields. Very often, the most
successful managers are those who are able to identify that
being a good practitioner does not automatically mean that
they will be a good manager and they seek to close the gaps

The Employability
Skills System (ESS) is a basic-skills training program
designed to increase the employability of the workforce across
all industry bases in this country. As an Approved WDA training
provider, FTC KAPLAN provides a range of training modules

the Singapore 2006 Customer Service Training Programme under

Our wide range of training competencies ensures
that we make the best partner for organisations who wish to
engage in structured learning programmes for their total workforce.
In response to the needs of many of our clients we have developed
a programme of training that sits comfortably with our Management
Development Programme. The Organisational
Development Programme offers clients a package of training
which may include structured competency mapping or Training

training tool which is designed to meet a wide number of specific
objectives for specific clients. Whether you want to train
your staff about finance in a way that will stop them falling

building exercise, the Business Board Game
(BBG) is the session for you. Delivered as an interactive,
stimulating and fun two or three day programme the BBG has
