The advanced module is for adult learners
who are able to function independently in survival and work
situations. Learners can clarify general meaning and communicate
on the telephone on familiar topics. They can participate
effectively in social and familiar work situations; can understand
and participate in practical and social conversations and
in technical discussions in their own field.
Learners in the advanced module are able to handle most reading
and writing tasks related to life roles; can read and interpret
most non-simplified
materials; can interpret routine charts, graphs, and labels;
fill out medical information forms and job applications. In
terms of their employability, they can understand work-related
conversations and interact with the public. They are able
to meet work demands with confidence and follow written instructions
in work manuals.
